Accordions and Croissants

Accessibility
The event is held in the Teeter courtyard which is accessible off the street over paving. The venue has two gender-neutral bathrooms which are not wheelchair accessible: they can be reached via a ramp on the side roller door, or up a single step through the front door. The venue is open air and may be sunny, but we’ll have two umbrellas and a jacaranda tree for shade. There is no dedicated check-out space for this show. Food & coffee is available at the venue (& no alcohol).
The festival team will be walking and/or driving between the two venues. You’re welcome to join us for a stroll or catch a lift if you need one. The events are 1.4km apart, and walkable over footpaths.

In a first for Tone List, we have an official “kick-ons” for Sun Returns, the sunrise launch of Audible Edge. Join us for a pastry, coffee and an incredibly rare live set by one of Boorloo’s most committed experimentalists, Ross Bolleter.
Since the 1980s, Ross has been creating radical work using ruined and devastated instruments. Best known for his iconic work with pianos, Ross has a less outed — and significantly more portable — practice on ruined accordions, melding the cracks and wheezes of the instruments with valiant melodies.
Even if the sunrise was too early for you, join us for this very special chance to simultaneously witness a local legend and have a chomp on some of this town’s best baked things.
Folks who have a festival pass or a Sun Returns ticket can get a free Audible Edge filter coffee at Teeter courtesy of our sponsor, Pound.
