Ingrid Cumming is a proud Whadjuk Balardong Noongar woman from Fremantle, Western Australia. Her Elders gave her the name "Ngoorlak", which refers to the Carnarby Cockatoo, a symbol of rains, healing, and change.

As an engaging facilitator, performer, and speaker, Ingrid Cumming has travelled the world, presenting her research and publications, and appearing as a guest on national and local TV programs, including ABC's The Drum and stand-up comedy.

Ingrid Cumming is the owner and operator of a 100% First Nations business, certified by Supply Nation and a member of the Whadjuk Corporation and Noongar Chamber of Commerce. With over 15 years of experience across Government, Aboriginal Controlled organisations, Corporate, and not-for-profit sectors, Ingrid is a recognised young leader in the First Nations community and beyond, known for her work in community engagement, strategic development, leadership, policy, and program development, training, and education.

A proud alumnus and honorary fellow of the School of Indigenous Studies at Murdoch University and Melbourne Business School, Ingrid has served on several boards, including SEDA WA, Aboriginal Women in Business, and the WA state government's Commissioner for Conservation. She has also received multiple awards in her career.

Driven by her passion for change and reconciliation, Ingrid strives to make a positive and authentic impact, ensuring the journey of truth telling, reconciliation, and empowering First Nations people and allies continues.
