Anuraag
Melodramatic DJ retiree Anuraag returns to the stage in a new variant.

After spending a decade spinning high-velocity club music (and the occasional deep listening set), Anuraag had lived out just about all their musical dreams. They were lucky enough to support titans as broad as u-Ziq, Helena Hauff, and DJ Sprinkles; play an extended 3-hour peak-time set at Inner Varnika; close the Miscellania 1 year birthday hoon; and prank Boiler Room live on air. Yet, their growing dissatisfaction with the DJ supremacy meta culminated in them writing an essay about giving up on the practice and throwing their USBs into the inferno. A year and a half later, catalysed by an opportunity to support a foundational musical inspiration (Shackleton), they made a return playing with CDJs, a computer, and allegedly some live hand drums. The practice felt exciting again.
Comeback tour incoming, now in the form of DJ/live hybrid sets. Improvisational, freeform, hypnotic, and sometimes cheeky. Composed of freaky rhythms that play with trance states, that aim to feel as good and grounding to witness as they do to play.
