Accessibility
This event takes place entirely outdoors - rain or shine. It involves walking about 800m on a cement path that steadily descends around 30m elevation. It is an approximately 10 minute walk, done slowly over about 30 minutes. The performance will involve some quiet sounds and some quite loud, abrupt sounds. Audience participation is encouraged, but optional. Free sunscreen, insect repellent, earplugs and N95 masks will be available.

Details
As we wrap up Wires and Holograms, join us on a gently noisy walk down to the bottom of the hill for The Last Plunk.
For this performance, Furchick will work with her self-made instrument, The Sound Walker. The Sound Walker was first devised for an outdoor performance during Audible Edge Mandjoogoordap, in collaboration with a large ensemble of acoustic improvisers and dancers. It experiences its Boorloo debut and takes centre-stage at Down we go, leading us on a vivacious walk from the top of Yagan mia down to the cottage at 6 Hickey St, our next venue. Hanging from the lime-green frame of the walker are slinkies, bells, and other things that go clang, ping, bong (and jibber-jabber-joo). Audience participation is likely to be a thing.
