Accessibility
This workshop begins in the Sullivan Hall, which is a wheelchair accessible venue, accessible via the footpath on inclined but smooth terrain. It will be well-lit with natural light. There are two accessible all-gender bathrooms located outside the venue, connected via a footpath. The event is alcohol-free and all-ages. The venue is spacious and windows and doors can be kept open throughout the workshop for ventilation. The park bench outside the venue will be set up as a quiet check-out space.
The workshop moves through Booyembarra Park, which has wheelchair accessible pathways. The walkway can be uneven or steeply inclined at times. Please get in touch if you would like to participate but have any questions or hesitations about traversing the terrain. We can craft a route together that suits your accessibility needs. Please wear weatherproof gear including good walking shoes, sunscreen and a hat. Tone List has sunscreen to share if you need it.
Lunch will be vegan and gluten free, potentially with some items containing dairy or gluten which are optional.
The Audible Edge Festival has a dedicated accessibility budget. Please be in touch if you'd like to use this to help experience this event fully.

Details
‘Tuning-in’ means feeling places, the environment or one’s situation, with different senses and layers of awareness. ‘Tuning-in’ is connecting to the outside world, but it is also connecting to inward landscapes and spaces: the resonating inner self, intuitions, emotions, and learned practices. When we enter a wood or a rolling stretch of open field we become part of it. We are always part of a landscape. We are in an eco-systemic partnership. The moment we are there, we influence it and it influences and affects us, and this feedback loop is the basis for the creative work we might do in any particular place.
Please bring:
your instrument (if you are OK to bring it outside and walk with it), or any objects that you feel you might play or use. Sound Exploration Fremantle also provide a suite of small instruments that you're welcome to borrow.
something to write on, and a pen.
